iVote Group develops anti-corruption tool

The iVote Group recently delivered a database and website to evaluate and record vulnerabilities to corruption at the municipal government level. Using the International Republican Institutes (IRI)’s unique methodology, the database documents legal frameworks to combat corruption, rules that shape the conduct of civil service and public officials, citizens’ access information and means to hold government officials accountable, and role of political parties, CSOs, and the business community in controlling corruption at the local level. The database provides IRI with a unique scoring scoring system and data visualization features. To date the methodology has been implemented in Paraguay, Mongolia, Tunisia, Ukraine, Cambodia and El Salvador.
